Since the Marriott app likes to keep track, I can say our family had stayed in Marriott hotels 75 nights this year. I booked this one with my two daughters for my birthday celebration. We arrived at 2:30 with our swimsuits on. When we went to check in the employee seemed super annoyed we were there and told me my room wasn’t ready. I tried to lighten things by pointing out we were fine to swim until check-in. Employee (rudely) points out that while check-in is at 3, that’s just an estimate and our room might not be ready by then. I honestly was very surprised to hear this. We’ve done super early check-ins and everything in between, and not only have we *never* not had our room available by check in. There was a hundred nicer ways to say that. The other gal on duty seemed just as troubled by our existence, so we decided to attempt avoiding the front desk. We were here for a fun time! I ended up having to go to the front desk two more times. Once I went to get three towels (my girls were loving their jacuzzi tub). After waiting about five minutes for her to get the towels, I started heading back to my room. She came back as I was walking to my room and said she could only “find” two towels??? (Again, super unusual. Any other Marriott would, *especially* if it was going to take that long, had the towels delivered to our room.). My final visit was on the day I was checking out and my keys stopped working. The front desk gal asked me if I decided to extend a day. I told her no, I have late checkout. She acted totally shocked, rummaged through her papers, and gripes that no one wrote it down. *She* was the one who initially confirmed our late checkout, and she even said she needed to write it down.
And finally, the icing on the cake. The lamp on my side table closest to the jacuzzi tub wasn’t working. I didn’t worry about it for a day or two but then I needed it so I pulled out the nightstand to try and discover the problem. My hand was covered in cobwebs from grabbing behind the nightstand. Someone may want to check on that (room 125).

I cannot tell you enough how great the staff is here!!! While traveling from out of state, I was unable to check into the hotel I was originally booked at. I walked in and explained what had happened to me and they were the most kind people that helped me. They were able to get me room for 2 nights and even made the price comparable to what I was going to pay. The room was great but the staff really made the trip a great one. I will be booking with them if I ever travel through there again. Thank you so much for everything!!!!!
