Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Airport is a wonderful place for families with kids to stay. This hotel is just around the corner from the Fairmount Park, Penn Museum and Eastern State Penitentiary. A few other points of interest include the Citizens Bank Park and Please Touch Museum. The hotel has 109 rooms; it also has a swimming pool. L’Angolo Ristorante Italiano is a kid-friendly eatery that is notable and close to the hotel.

The hotel is clean, well located somehow expensive these days. What is very frustrating for any guest/customer is being treated badly just for the sake of it. Evening check-in Friday 10/18 was really a bad experience. If our Bonvoy app is supposed to accelerate the process and make it easier for your “members”, than avoid your customers having to deal with a nasty person who doesn’t greet back, does not make eye contact and does not interact in a decent manner. There’s a brand to protect and while nothing is perfect, this is very amendable and easy to fix. That might also apply to your late night front desk who at least responds when spoken to. If your pool is under construction, at least point it out on your website to avoid misleading potential guests when making decisions on where to stay, as you advertise an indoor pool. I’m still staying until tomorrow room 129 to make sure this review is real and I hope there’s no retaliation while still staying here.

Worst 5 days of our trip spent staying at this hotel.
Woke up every morning stiff and having cold like symptoms and in need of pain killers and allergy medicine.
Not worthy of a $250 a night price tag.
Beds are VERY uncomfortable (hard and squeaky. I doubt they are queen beds.) and the rooms stink of mildew from the AC units. The fridge wasn't clean (pictures attached), so the only thing I felt comfortable about keeping in it was our soft drinks. Stains on the sheers and bed frame covering.. (God only knows what that is.. I'm not guessing lol)
(yes, they offered to let us move, but there was no difference between the one we were in and the ones that were offered. They all had that poor air quality) TBH I'm surprised that Marriott has allowed this hotel to remain as a Fairfield. Do they even do spot checks?? They should IMO. For this being the lower value of their hotel chains, this
particular hotel was more like a Family Inn or American Best Value.
To make matters worse, they are currently being renovated (front only) so they had the pool area closed.
Overall... Find another place to stay.
If not.. Don't say you weren't warned.
**Staff was friendly.. Front desk was very professional. Breakfast food was okay.
The owner just seriously needs to update this ENTIRE hotel, including the beds. Stop buying the cheapest bed available or lower your price.
