My husband was hospitalized at UTSW for over a week prior to his passing. Fairfield Inn was less than five minutes away. It became my home away from home during that time period. Wonderful Staff, great breakfast options and pleasant accommodations made a very stressful time in my life as comfortable as it could be under the circumstances. Many Thanks to the staff for the kindness they extended to me and my family members.

Small rooms
The location is ok, very close to the design district and medical center. The rooms are small compared to other FFINNs in the DFW metro area. They lack the extended living area with sofa/tv. Rooms have mini refrigerator, but do not have a microwave (it may be provided upon request, subject to availability). The very small tv in the room is fixed to a drawer about 3 feet high, making it very difficult to watch tv comfortably. The coffee/tea maker and supplies are placed next to the faucet, making it all a watery mess. I would consider other hotels in the area next time.
