Picked this Midtown location for its price proximity to Broadway, Times Square, The Empire State Building, and Bryant Park. Walked Manhattan from the Met to Battery Park, and hailed a ride or used the subway as needed. I started each morning with a short walk to Bryant Park to sit and enjoy morning coffee. I chose the daily breakfast once, and found it was ample and in line with other Marriott properties in this price point. If you’re looking for greater variety or something more substantial, you’ll likely find what you’re seeking a short walk. The rooms are adequate and comfortable. If you’re seeking comfort and convenience, in my opinion this hotel is a worthy choice. If you are seeking a fancy lobby, larger rooms and upscale amenities, seek that price point in your hotel choice. What set this hotel apart, for me, was the staff. I met quests visiting NYC for the first time. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help me welcome them by securing a beautiful floral arrangement and a teenager’s favorite candy to be in their room upon arrival. I found each evening the hotel staff welcomed quests with popcorn, cookies, or wine. It was different each evening, so I assert it is a rotation that is very thoughtful upon arrival or after a day of seeing NYC. Anytime we strolled through the lobby, the hotel staff tendered a friendly greeting and inquired if I needed anything. From reservation, to special requests, to checkout, all went well.

From our first experience with Keisha and Rebecca as we checked in through our four nights, every encounter exceeded expectations. They took a maternal interest in out 9 year old grandson on his first visit to NYC and made sure that we had good recommendations for dinner. The room was adequate and the location convenient. But it was all of the staff we met who made this a special place to stay.
