Almost everything about this hotel was perfect. But our first night in a rear-facing room really colored the rest of the trip. We had a long travel day, a late flight, and an added delay, so all I wanted when I checked in after midnight was to hit the reset button with some sleep. The predawn truck noise from the alley put a quick end to that plan, and really made our first day a challenge. There was a little note by the bedside about how city hotels come with city noise, so we were obviously not the first to have problems. But we are city people, and trust me when I say this wasn't the usual urban din. If you had told me there was an open-air concrete and steel recycling center next door I would have believed you. And the way the buildings came together, the sounds amplified up the sides so a higher floor didn't provide any relief. After checking with the front desk multiple times throughout the day, we were given a new room facing the front of the building, which was great. But I don't think I would stay here again unless they could guarantee that I wouldn't be on the alley. It's a shame because the hotel itself was great, and the location superb.

I really appreciated the services in this hotel. People was friendly and always close to the customers. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. Laundry service, breakfast and gym.
The only thing to improve is the noise coming from the Fire Station.
