Overall this was a great hotel however there are always things which are less positive.
The decor and room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the woman maintaining it did an excellent job. The front desk people were great and in one case went above and beyond to help if there was a problem. I like that you have a skip housekeeping card which goes in the key slot. We have been skipping housekeeping for years and always had to tape a note to the door so this is great. Housekeeping did a great job. The shower water came out with good force and was usually always hot. The room was clean and there were no bugs.
It's great the room had a minifridge and microwave. Its great that the bathroom was complete and didnt seperate a sink outside it.
The negatives are apparently the hotel is starting to charge $10 a night to park. I didnt have to pay it this time since I made my reservation before that but thats not great. Also the room we were placed in on the 2nd floor was above some kind of electronics room and when I put my head on the pillow there was a low humming noise coming out which was bothersome. I went down there and could hear a buzzing humming noise coming from this room. It needs to be soundproofed as low frequency sounds can travel to other areas as well. The room was small for a queen suite. The AC was right next to one of the beds and it couldnt be run at night without freezing whoever slept in that bed. The sofabed had to be reoriented in order to ensure when it was open that it did not block someone walking by to go to the bathroom. The bathroom toilet clogged easily. The bathroom door handle was loose and the room window didnt close all the way.
Best way to avoid the room with the humming noise is to be on the side opposite the pool.

I reached out to the good folks at the Fairfield Inn in White Marsh in regards to a church function and Taylor Noha was amazing! With about a two week notice, he was able to get me enough rooms for everyone at a great price. The visiting church that stayed at the hotel raved about it, they had a great stay and loved the location of the hotel. Thank you to everyone at the Fairfield Inn!!!
