Halls & lobby were poorly lit, probably to hide the filth, & reeked of cigarettes. Trash cans & dumpster outside were overflowing. The pet waste bins were overflowing with cigarette butts. Our TV didn't work, we were told "sorry, I can't do anything about it". Night staff was rude. The elevator was broken. The pool was so murky and dirty we didn't dare swim. Our window had no lock (2nd floor, maybe ground floor rooms did). Several ground floor windows had bent screens, like someone had pried them off. Our room wasn't as dirty as the halls but the carpet had such big stains we kept our flip flops on. The mattress was so old that I felt the springs when sitting down (I weigh 130#). Our sink wouldn't drain. We were there with a youth sports team who saw things they shouldn't. One of the girls had penis drawings in her shower. We noticed what appeared to be homeless people and/or addicts wandering in and out of the lobby (clearly high with fresh track marks and that undeniable smell). One woman wore an ill-fitting wet shirt and clearly no bra. There was a woman rifling through the garbage cans INSIDE the hotel, she then sat in the hallway and sorted this garbage. This all sounds unbelievable, I know - it felt unbelievable. Parents were told to call the cops ourselves if it concerned us. Parents were told by other guests to make sure and lock your car and not prop open your hotel door at any time. I will never book Extended Stay again....anywhere.

Unfortunately my list of complaints is long. We got in late and the front desk staff was rude (at almost every interaction), there were people right by the front door smoking, the “pet waste disposal” was overflowing with cigarette butts, several of the first floor window screen were bent and had pry marks which I can only assume was from someone trying to get in??? There was a woman talking to herself and sorting bags of garbage all over the hall on the second floor. We did not feel safe at all. The front lobby area was disgusting the entire stay, our room was in VERY rough shape, most of the lightbulbs were burned out and the sheets were stained, and the security lock was broken and the floor hadn’t been swept in a long while. The halls were dim and the floors were filthy. By the end when the elevator broke it was just laughable. Our entire group experienced problems, additional issues include: broken locks on first floor windows, TVs that didn’t work, random knocking on doors all night long, strange people wandering the halls, inappropriate drawings on the shower walls and the front desk saying if we had a problem with the crazies, to call the cops ourselves. We will NEVER stay in this or any Extended stay again and we travel A LOT.
