This small motel by West Yellowstone offers comfortable, affordable units with a charming rustic vibe. The rooms are smaller than typical motel rooms, so should only be considered an option for smaller families (with 1-2 kids), especially as they are unable to provide cots or cribs. Each room includes a refrigerator and microwave, and kitchen units add a dining table, dishes, and stove or hot plate. Free in-room wifi is provided, as are coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, but a full breakfast is not. Ultimately, you don’t stay here for luxury: you stay here for the clean room, reasonable price, and proximity to the park entrance (less than a mile!).

Clean and Cozy

The Evergreen is a quaint older style drive-up motel. The room was clean and very cozy. We had great service from the staff. Hot coffee, tea and muffins were available at the office. On site laundry was very convienent. From what we saw the price was probably the best you are going to get in this area. Area for improvements were; carpeting at the entrance of the room could have used more attention. This was our most expensive stay on an 19 day trip where we visited Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Canyonlands, Arches, Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce and Capital Reef National Parks. I guess that the price was based on the law of supply and demand in the West Yellowstone area.
