Brought daughter and her boyfriend to Denver as a gift so knew we wanted to be downtown where they could walk to bars and restaurants. The ES is a perfect location (also right across the street from the Convention Center). It is near the light rail (we could hear it from the room). All of the staff were excellent from the valet staff, to front desk, to maintenance (they quickly fixed a shower issue we had), to the servers at breakfast and the evening reception. Room was clean and comfy. Overall a great hotel in a great location. I thought the server at the evening reception did an outstanding job!!! They were very busy, yes there was a line due to a crowd of fans in for the Broncos-Brown team. But the line went very fast. We had plenty of opportunities to get seconds (and even thirds). Only negative is $47 a night for valet parking but I suppose that comes with being downtown and they could use a bit more sound proofing in the windows.

This property is in a very convenient and accessible location in downtown Denver. My check in took about 2 minutes, which I appreciated, and my room on a high floor was very quiet, removed from both street noise and any noise from the center atrium. I really appreciated how this property doesn't use the super thick duvets that so many other Hilton properties have adopted, and I slept well on both nights of my stay. The front desk staff were very helpful, and overall I would definitely consider staying here again.
The one area where improvement could definitely be made is the free breakfast. Apart from the omelette bar which was great, everything else was pretty subpar, much more Hampton Inn than Embassy Suites. A couple more fresh fruit options, or better quality pastries and breads, would make a considerable improvement. The other hot food options were more like lukewarm, which seems like an easy fix. It's nice that it's included with the room rate, but in a town like Denver that has so many good food options, it's pretty disappointing.
