The Embassy Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown offers reliable, family-friendly accommodations in the heart of Pittsburgh. Hotel perks include complimentary breakfast featuring made-to-order omelettes; evening receptions with appetizers and cocktails; an indoor swimming pool; and a gym. There’s also an onsite restaurant, Elevation, where lunch and dinner are served. Highchairs are available.
Perhaps the best feature of this hotel, however, is that it’s an all-suite property, with two-room suites able to accommodate large groups. All suites are equipped with sofa beds and kitchenettes with mini-fridges, microwaves and coffeemakers. Wi-Fi is available for a fee.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown is located near Heinz Field, PNC Park and the Carnegie Museums, along with a wealth of restaurants.
Check-in time is 4 p.m., with check-out at 11 a.m. daily. Parking is valet only (fee).

I really liked this hotel. Our one bedroom king suite was enormous for a hotel room in a big city. It's on the top floors of an old office building with the lobby and breakfast on the top floor. The Embassy Suites breakfast was fantastic with a lot of options. The room was new and upgraded, and everything was clean. The bathroom was top notch was well.
I stayed over in Pittsburgh twice this summer. The first time, we stayed at the Homewood Suites near the Strip area. I really did not like the Strip. It's kind of a separate area from downtown and had a kind of run down feel. We stayed at this hotel for our second trip and the downtown location is much better. From a location standpoint, I think it's better to be downtown than at the Strip. It's a more accessible location that's also right near the subway
Overall, I really recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very nice, greeted you with good morning every day and always asked how everything was.
Had made to order breakfast every morning with real eggs and a variety of breakfast options. The also had a happy hour every night from 5:30 till 7:30
