Bartender was very rude at the Omaha Nebraska Element Hotel.

There is an area in the lobby for drinks in the evening. The bartender was looking at his phone while seated at a chair. It wasn't obvious he was employed at the hotel. When I tried to pour myself a drink he got angry and said "what are you doing". His toned implied he thought I was stealing the wine. A few minutes later another woman was looking for a glass of wine. The exact same thing happened to her. She sat down beside me and whispered "what's wrong with the bartender?" About 10 minutes later, a man went to the wine area, he was greeted with a smile and asked if he needed anything. This pattern continued throughout the night. The next night I witnessed the same thing.....women were treated with disdain after trying to pour a glass of wine, while men were greeted and served. Really annoying.

Overall Nice Stay

I had an overall nice stay. I like the hotels that offer the green option of no housekeeping in exchange for points. The room was spacious and I like having a full kitchen instead of having to eat out every night. Having a grocery store accessible through the garage was an added bonus. You can't beat the location if you are working at Mutual of Omaha.
I wish I could remember her name, but the lady working the breakfast area on the 24th and 25th was super helpful and even chased after me when she thought I left my key behind. All staff were friendly and helpful.
Down sides: Noise seemed to travel well both from outside and room to room. The breakfast was great if you wanted yogurt, fruit, and carbs. Some mornings there were fancy egg somethings that were cooked to order, but they were sometimes several people behind which didn't work well when in a hurry. This morning, the made to order was pancakes, so more carbs. The only protein were some weird looking frittata things that looked like they were made in a pressure cooker or something.
The room organization seemed odd. The desk was in the kitchen area and too close to the TV to allow you to watch TV while eating or working. The entire entry/kitchen/desk area was hard floors and you could definitely hear if the person above was wearing hard soled shoes or rolling luggage.
