Situated on the base of the Pululahua volcano, and at the edge of a tropical rainforest, El Crater Hotel offers guests a unique perspective of Ecuador’s otherworldly landscapes. All elements used in the design of the hotel are organic, the entire faÃ§ade is covered in pumice stone. The onsite restaurant was strategically built on the edge of the crater of the volcano. Diners can enjoy authentic Ecuadorian meals while taking in 360 degree views of the volcano, the rainforest, and the ever-changing weather conditions.

Breathtaking

The staff super friendly and helpful. The rooms comfortable, clean and with beautiful views. The hotel property breathtaking. The views from the hotel, words can not describe. The food was really good. The hotel was able to provide information for a driver that I could hire. He was amazing, friendly, patient, helpful and just a nice guy. I can not thanking enough for all his help during all the travel we did while in Quito with my family including a 4 y/o boy and a 83 year grandmother. His name is Mr. Vadim.

Excellent food and service...awesome view of the crater

We had a short but very pleasant experience in this restaurant, which is giving you a wonderful view of Pululahua Crater and the town in the heart of the crater. Food is amazing and the staff very attentive. Very close to the Mitad del Mundo Monument.
