See below our comments regarding the condition of our room upon check-in. This report was sent to the management of the resort by email instead of filling out the Room Maintenance Report card left in the room as there wasn't enough space on the card.
1. Dirty floors, apparently not cleaned properly for a while, particularly in the bedroom (I can provide a picture of my socks after walking on the floors barefoot right after we checked in).
2. Greasy pan placed in cupboard; dishes, glasses and utensils needed washing before use.
3. The kitchen counter, tables and other surfaces badly needed wiping.
4. Hot plates - Illegible dial setting.
5. Leaky showers; also, unable to regulate temperature.
6. Stained blanket on the bed (close to the window) - removed immediately and used only the sheets to cover myself.
7. Dusty light bulbs.
And so on...
We could continue listing the problems and include a review of the non-existent safety and security precautions; however, we will stop here and somehow survive the week. According to the various reviews, nothing happens when the problems are reported, so why bother! For this reason, we declined maid service and had maintained the cleanliness of the unit ourselves.
