Location: slightly north of center of the three mile boardwalk/bike trail. Just a few hundred feet south of the Nautilus statue. Super great for walkers! There is a Harris Teeter practically in sight (two blocks away- a very easy walk). You’re right across the street or around the block from several restaurants. Once parked, can’t imagine you’d need to get the car out at all.
Ocean front with a beautiful view.
Rooms: comfortable double beds. Nice linens, clean, small microwave, larger than typical hotel refrigerator with a separate freezer-not just a little freezer box at the top. Flat screen TV. WiFi was great. I streamed almost the entire time we were there and while it glitched on me a couple of times, it was great for free WiFi.
Grounds: great location, clean, but small pool deck, staff really clean and paint and keep things nice in this small hotel. I saw them painting small things and repairing things all throughout our two day stay. The staff seem to really care about your stay, which is a little different than many hotels. This is a mom and pop and I believe the owner may be on site quite a bit.
We were walking across the street to a restaurant and I forgot something and went back to my room. My son was with me and just hung back by the lobby to wait for me. While I ran back to the room, the front desk attendee came around and gave my son a 10% off coupon for that restaurant. He had nothing to gain from that. He just gave us good service and it won’t be forgotten.
Note: small, older motel that has been very well maintained with no elevator. If you get a room on the third floor, you have the best view, but you also have a third floor walk up-so keep that in mind.
Breakfast: very basic but sufficient. Basket of apples, bagels, English muffins, cereal, yogurt and danishes with coffee and juice.
They have free bikes you can check out and ride on the walkway.
There is a very large concrete walkway as well as a separate two-lane asphalt bike path right outside, then a very large sandy beach.
Will be back!

I stayed here September 2-5, 2019 and was very happy with the stay. The hotel is smaller than all the ones surrounding it, but the accommodations were perfect. I had a view of the ocean from my room and it was so easy to walk to places. I only drove my car twice while I stayed. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. The cost was the most affordable for the time I stayed. I would definitely return here.
