My wife and I are traveling and I needed to find a restroom. The gas station’s restroom next door didn’t have properly working lights so I scurried in and found the bathroom open and surprisingly clean. But then a man kept beating on the door telling me to get out so I finished my business and as I was walking out of the bathroom door a man I presume is the owner was screaming at me to never come back. A very uncalled for reaction as he hadn’t seen or spoken to me prior.

We pulled over at this hotel on the way from texas, because we were too tired to keep going. it is located off the interstate but there is no restaurants or anything around. The hotel was very outdated, the front desk staff were not the friendliest and the hotel just looked unclean. This hotel accepted cash which most hotels do not do that unless it is one of those hotels you can rent by the hour if you know what I mean.... it was interior corridors but the hallways were dark and smelled old... the room was ok but again it just didn't look or feel clean. We only slept there for a few hours but I didn't feel very safe there. They have a sign that they serve breakfast but I didn't eat there.... when we checked out they just took our room cards and that's it not even thank you for staying or anything.....this hotel does not represent Choice hotels in a Good way.... I would not recommend this hotel if you are driving thru eutaw I strongly recommend stopping in Tuscaloosa or a city after eutaw because this is not a place you should stay.
