Overview

The Dunes on the Waterfront offers direct access to beautiful Ogunquit Beach, named one of the 10 Best Beaches for Families in 2015. And that’s just part of the charm.

At The Dunes on the Waterfront, families have the option to stay in one- or two-bedroom cottages with fully equipped kitchens, wood-burning fireplaces and screened-in porches from which you and the kids can enjoy views of the sand dunes. Cottages sleep up to six guests. Cottage Suites for couples are also available and a nice option for grandparents or other extended family. Standard guestrooms with one king or two queen beds are available, as well; they are all equipped with Keurig coffeemakers and outdoor sitting areas. Connecting options are available for guestrooms.

Our new Home for annual girls weekend

Great location, set back from the ever busy route 1 enough to offer peace and tranquility. Cottages were spaced well, with each appointed with an outdoor table w/umbrella and chairs and a designated parking space. Cottage were spotless and beds were comfortable. Mini split ac/heating unit that kept us cozy, as we were there the last weekend in October. The campus has an outdoor pool, kayaks, row boats, bocce and croquet. Did I mention the view? Spectacular sunrise and view of the Ogunquit river and ocean beyond. We were staying 2 nights so we had a cottage with two connecting bedrooms that shared a foyer with a large counter/sink in front of a full bathroom with a door. Perfect for the 3 of us as we all had our own bed. We will go for a cottage with screened porch and fireplace next year. Loved it!

The cottages are darling and immaculate. Staff is so friendly and there is always someone there at the front office to answer questions and offer suggestions. We had our dog with us and it was so wonderful I hated to leave.
