The Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Southwest has everything a family might need during their time in Birmingham, Alabama: free (hot) breakfast, free Wi-Fi, an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, laundry room and even evening socials (5:30 Kickback) with free snacks and drinks. Free popcorn and soft drinks are served in the lobby from 3 to 10 p.m. daily (and who doesn’t love free popcorn?). Rooms are equipped with mini-fridges, microwaves and coffeemakers. Each one comes with a king bed or two queens; suites are also available.

The hotel is right off of I-65, and less than 10 minutes from the University of Alabama.

Maybe the Best

We have stayed at several Drury Inns but this is the best to date. Speedy checking, spacious room, friendly staff. Lobby,dinner breakfast area modern and very upscale.
Food is as good as always. Popcorn is great

Clean and comfortable

The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. We also took advantage of the free breakfast, which was not bad at all. Excellent coffee.
