The Driftwood Lodge is a family-friendly gem in Panama City Beach, owned and operated by three generations of family. With outdoor games, fun activities and scheduled events, you’ll never hear the kids say, “I’m bored.” Cookouts, parties and potlucks create unique memories throughout the year. “Watermelon Time” is a staple in the summer, and the resort celebrates special holidays like Grandparents Day, too.
Enjoy the heated pool, volleyball court, shuffleboard, checkers or picnic area. The giant, grassy courtyard on the Gulf is a fabulous gathering spot. Dip your toes in the white sand of the beach, or take a short walk to Pier Park. Water sport rentals, like Jet skis and parasailing, are available, as are beach chair and umbrella rentals. A variety of rooms, efficiencies and even a cabana suite that sleeps eight are available. Adjoining rooms are great for large families and kitchens are nice for those that love to cook, or are just looking to stretch their vacation dollar.

We decided to try a new accommodation on our last visit to Zion, and WOW did we luck out! Before entering the song birds serenade their visitors so it must be a happy place. Driftwood Lodge is quiet, clean and feels like home. We stayed in Courts of the Patriarch section and had views on all three sides of our balcony. We enjoyed the large windows to view the night skies from our bed, deer in the morning and evenings and spacious balcony. The furnishings were top notch, cathedral ceiling in our unit and a beautiful tile floor in the entry and bathroom area. Front office staff was extremely friendly and had us so excited with one of the best rooms before we even saw it. It was our best accommodations on our vacation-thank you, thank you, thank you. You made this Maine couple feel right at home.

We have been coming to Driftwood Lodge at least once a year for 30 years. This is the most family friendly place you could find. The rooms are always clean and nice, the staff friendly. You will meet some wonderful people here. We can't wait to get back next spring.
