Just returned from here and would like to thank Octavio and Luis for the excellent pool side service, Evelin for the great care in our ocean view room and Elias for the bell boy for the great conversations and service. This resort was clean with a nice beach and food variety. Also thank you to Helios and Oscar for taking the time to make sure our stay was pleasant.

I was diggsappointed in Dreams: 1) the food was mediocre--adequate but without flair or originatlity 2) one could not swim in the gulf; 3) the
registration people made a mistake that cost me about $240. It turned out that they said I had only reserved for one, so I had to make an additional payment for my wife. But I was never asked how many people and never thought to specify since we are both on the contract. No one tried to help me, although I complained to everyone in power. Correction would have been as simple as giving me a free round of golf that would have equaled the additional charge.
Family Activities
The resort is located on a scenic beach, but the shoreline here is too rough for swimming. So while there are plenty of water sports available, ocean swimming is out. But that's not to say you can't swim: Dreams has three large pools, one just for the kids with a Jacuzzi and a slide.
Several activities are included in the all-inclusive rate, including an oceanfront putting green, pilates, yoga, biking, cooking classes, cocktail lessons, archery, and even the releasing of baby sea turtles seasonally. The resort also hosts musical guests and shows as well as big screen outdoor movies under the stars. Some of the off-resort activities that are available for an extra fee include Scuba lessons, swimming with dolphins, horseback riding, whale and sea lion watching, and parasailing.
Dreams has a children's program for potty-trained children ages 3 to 12. Use of this Explorer's Club is included in your room rate; and kids will take part in activities that vary by age, like splashing around on the ocean trampoline, treasure hunts, sand castle contests, movies under the stars, and even a camp out once a week. Babysitting is available for a fee.
The property also has a full-service spa and fitness center.
Family Dining
