The Historic Dove Inn was built in 1866 and is private and quiet, yet only half a block from Golden’s main street. When booking, look at the luxury suites; these three rooms are able to accommodate three or four guests, whereas the other historical rooms might be limited to a single king or queen bed. The décor is authentic and Victorian. The delicious, hot breakfast is always a favorite amongst guests. Some rooms have a jetted tub. You may choose a book from the shelves and read on the porch or cuddle up together with a movie in your room.

My husband and I stayed at the Dove Inn for a mini staycation and creative retreat. As soon as we walked into the doors we felt a sense of calm wash over us. Established in 1866, the Dove Inn has been newly renovated with modern amenities, but has taken meticulous care to maintain the beautiful old world charm. Our room was beautiful and spacious and I've never taken more baths in one weekend! I swear the tub and opulent chandelier over head was meant for royalty. The Inn is in walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and even offers an open kitchen and living room space. In the morning we helped ourselves to complimentary coffee and muffins. Needless to say we highly recommend to any visiting the Golden, CO area! We will 100% be returning!

Comfortable bed. Nice Room. Nice home overall. It is a bed and breakfast but not your typical B&B in that the owners don't attend breakfast with you. But...that's clearly spelled out when you book your room. It's in a great location for walking around Golden. Parking can be tricky on a busy afternoon but not impossible. Would stay again.
