Stayed here one night and will definitely stay again. Easy half mile walk from the Metro station. Very clean room that was comfortable, clean, and the bed was nice. Walked to a few restaurants for dinner and breakfast. All within a few blocks away. Room was quiet and outside noises were almost nonexistent.

I stayed for 5 nights at Bethesdan Hotel (Bethesda Maryland) Nov 3-8. Arrival was immediately frustrating. The gentleman working at front desk "Ricky" told me I had to pay $18 for breakfast and $25 for parking which should be free per my reservation, I had to show him a hard copy of my reservation as proof. He made a copy of it, issued 5 breakfast vouchers, and told me he corrected parking charges "no worries." On Nov 7, I asked Ricky to print out a partial statement, surprise, it showed $25 charged for parking every day for 4 days. I reminded him of my reservation deal, he then removed the four $25 charges and handed me a copy with corrections made, "Now it looks better" he said. On Nov 8, I checked out in the morning and got my final receipt. After I got home, I found out that one of the $25 parking fees was added back to the total. I called Ricky again, he said he didn't know what had happened. He said he'd give me a refund of $25, but he had trouble correcting the grant total. That's what I am holding in my hand. By the way, I didn't move my car during my stay. I have never had an experience like this. How much more careful should a customer be?
Other than that, dining service staff were nice. Martha was kind and thoughtful. There was no room service the second day, but after I reminded them, room was cleaned daily.
