My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights to be in close proximity to Sleepy Hollow for the Halloween events. This is a large and rather unique Hilton property that almost feels more like a lodge. The lobby is huge and inviting and check-in was fast and courteous. Our room was quite a hike though down many hallways, a set of stairs and a ramp to get to the back of the hotel. The room was a bit dated, but had all the standard Hilton amenities as well as a Keurig coffee maker. We noticed they are doing some renovations as there was a crew painting in the hallway outside. They have a nice restaurant and bar area and while we didn’t eat, we did have drinks at the bar each night which was nice. I chose this hotel as they have a courtesy shuttle that will take you within a couple miles of the hotel. The hours for the shuttle aren’t the best, but if you call and they can handle it they will send someone from security to come get you. We appreciated this service as we didn’t rent a car and only had to take Uber a couple times. The hotel isn’t really walking distance to much and is on a really busy highway, but everything we wanted to see was right in the area after a couple minute shuttle drive. The restaurant is not open late so if you stay out later in the evening they do have a little snack shop next to the front desk which is a nice touch. All in all, this we chose this hotel for the location and we weren’t disappointed. It is only a 15-20 minute Uber from White Plains airport (HPN) without traffic.
