One of the best things this place has going for it is it’s proximity to both excel and LONDON city airport. Only took me 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from LCY.
Check in was good, with staff on reception helpful and courteous. The digital key request hadn’t worked on my app, but they already had my key ready to one side.
Downstairs the hotel looks modern, with nice furniture and plenty of it to sit back and relax.
Room I had was on the 8th floor, and to be honest it was more noisy than I expected from both air craft and what I think was trains.
Room size was good and as expected from the double tree decor and chain. Bed was not as comfy, still firm but creaked when you moved on it. Room was in good condition, and was clean. Tech is a bit old, with the LG TV showing its age. No USB charging ports apart from one on the clock. No hdmi input or chromecast / airplay facility in the room.
Overall a good stay and great value for money to be fair. Didn’t have the breakfast in the end so couldn’t comment on the quality of the food.
