The Dolphin Motel has faithfully served the San Diego community for over 37 years, offering guests and families clean, friendly and reasonable accommodations while visiting the area.
If you’re looking for a swanky (and expensive) ritzy place to stay in San Diego, this motel is not for you. But if your family is looking for a simple, quiet, clean and affordable no-frills place to stay in San Diego while still being close to all of the city’s family-friendly fun, The Dolphin Motel is perfect.
Each of the property’s 31 rooms are clean and well-appointed, and each includes free high speed Wi-Fi Internet, air conditioning, HDTV’s with over 78 channels, mini-fridges, one or two queen beds, and full baths. Some rooms offer small balconies and harbor view rooms.
There is no onsite restaurant, but there are several family-friendly options nearby. And while there is no onsite swimming pool or fitness room, there are plenty of nearby activities to keep a family entertained. The Gaslamp District, Mission Beach, Sea World, Petco Park, San Diego Zoo, and San Diego Airport are all within 15 minutes from the property. The property is also a short 200 feet from the San Diego Bay.
