Overview

Located right in the St. Lawrence Gap, Divi Southwinds Beach Resort is just a few minutes’ walk from Dover Beach. Its all-suite accommodations feature one or two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, separate living rooms with sofa beds, air conditioning, flat-screen televisions, safes and private balconies/patios. All-inclusive and board-only rate packages are available.

The resort has three freshwater pools, including one with a swim-up bar, a poolside lounge, a fitness center, tennis court, playground, nine-hole mini golf, spa and hair salon, convenience store, a restaurant and more. Bicycle and sailboat rentals are available on site. Tours, excursions, watersports and more can all be arranged by the resort.

There’s also a complimentary kids’ club for children ages four through 12, featuring poolside activities, treasure hunts, sand castle building, movie nights and value-added amenities such as drink coupons, kids’ club t-shirt, ice cream and souvenir cups. Plus, kids under 12 stay and eat free. Babysitting is also available for a fee.

Parking and Wi-Fi are complimentary.

Elite concierge service

My family and I stayed at the Divi south winds for a week in November 2019. The Concierge service was outstanding. 6 of the 7 days, the lead Concierge Steven Millington was running the show. We asked and he coordinated promptly from taxis, dinner, events, maid service, he handled it all professionally and he personally followed up with my family to ensure each request was done to our liking. The hotel was clean, the pool was great for the kids and the beach was right there attached to the resort. The front rooms of the resort did have a little noise issue being close to a main road, but nothing to cause any significant inconvenience. With the entry road near the hotel, this actually allowed access to many restaurants, grocery stores and some local shopping. Overall a nice place to stay for the family, but the service from the Concierge, Steven Millington, was above average and the biggest call out for our stay.

Wonderful stay

This hotel is very quiet and clean with staff that are very friendly and helpful. We stayed 7 nights and often wonder if we were the only ones there but it is a great get away from the busy nightlife of st. Lawrence gap but still being on the gap. I would recommend staying here to any one as it was far from being any sort of dissapointment.
