Firstly, I would never of thought any Disney hotel would ever be 2 star, but this one is and I can certainly see why. I chose this hotel based on the fact it was the cheapest one offered and we would be spending most of our time in the Disney parks.
It took nearly half an hour to find the hotel from the train station as we decided to walk, If you have never been to Disneyland Before I think it would of been a much longer struggle to find the hotel as I think I saw one maybe two signposts for Santa Fe, On arrival you are greeted by what I can only describe as the most boring looking reception area I’ve ever seen, there certainly isn’t anything Disney magic about it! Needs a bit of decoration and colour!
We must of then waited about 20 minutes at reception before someone served us, the queue behind us while we waited just got longer and longer (we got there just at the right time). The receptionists are very friendly and full of information!!
The rooms are very basic but enough for what we needed bed and shower! As we got this hotel on the cheap i wasn’t really bothered by what it looked like as long as it was clean, which it was. Cars theme not really my thing. Cleaned everyday while we were out! Can’t complain
Breakfast everyday there was a queue but it did go down quite quickly!! Luggage room was horrendous! Massive queue at 8.15am going out into the car park! Crazy!
I would stay at this hotel again if I was on a tight budget but I prefer sequoia lodge!

Stayed here in August 2 adults 2 children, we used Disney express to take our luggage to hotel for us so we could go straight to the park.
When we arrived at the hotel later in the evening although the queue for check in was not long I think 2 families in front of us we still found ourself waiting at least 40 mins and I honestly am not sure why! On other days I seen the queue ridiculously long easily over an hour wait with no entertainment for the small fed up children. Something really needs to be done about this.
Our room was basic but clean... small and tired looking in areas but very child oriented so kids loved it.
Breakfast and dinner was good enough
We mostly walked to and from the park from the hotel around 20 minutes each way, lovely walk.
Overall our stay was good for what it was as not much time was spent in the hotel, it definitely needs a refurb and I probably would not stay again.
