I stay in hotels a lot, usually for long stays. This was hotel was not my first choice, but my employer did not provide any options for the meeting I was attending. Check in was very simple and the staff went out of their way to ensure everything was quick and easy.
The hotel has been renovated since my last stay, but some areas could use a bit more attention. Generally the beds at Marriott properties are very comfortable, but my bed here was not. It was much too hard. The sheets and pillow cases were also very stiff, rough and uncomfortable. I have never experienced such low quality at other hotels. Both towels in the bath were also low quality and quite worn out. The edge of one was coming apart and hard long threads hanging from it. If it was my house that towel have ended up the rag bin.
Due to allergies, I appreciated the option of choosing a feather free room, but Tuesday to Friday there was such a strong air freshener used in the lobby area I had a coughing attack each time I walked in or out of the building. Rather than eating in the onsite restaurant I had to order food to be delivered because I didn’t want risk being in the lobby unless it was necessary.
My room was on the top floor, but the traffic noise each night was very loud. Ear plugs helped, but it was still difficult to get a good nights sleep.
The large number of accessible plug ins and the ability to log into Netflix on the tv was a bonus, but not enough to win me over.
Using the gym is important to me when I travel, but at this hotel I only used it once. The space was small, crowded and much too warm. There were weights, but no place to use them. If you used the treadmill/elliptical trainers you could stare at the wall or awkwardly turn your head to look at the tv. The configuration is awkward and uncomfortable.
Too bad the facility does not match the high standards of the staff.

Hosted a couple of VIP guests at this hotel in June and the check in was fast and very professional. The hotel was clean and the guest on the top most floor enjoyed the ambience and the quiet areas.
The rooms were clean and the bedding were also fresh and clean.
The staffs were very helpful and prompt anything we requested for one thing or the other.
