Delta Bessborough is a 227-room castle towering 10 stories high above the rest of Saskatoon. A historic landmark to the area, the Delta Bessborough (known originally as The Bessborough Hotel) first opened its doors in 1935 as a premiere Chateau-style luxury hotel. It immediately gained popularity because of its ornate architecture and castle-like appearance.
Rooms in this recently renovated four-star hotel offer guests 37-inch flat-screen TV’s, free high speed Internet access, mini-fridges, iPod MP3 clock radios, air conditioning, full baths, complimentary coffee and teas, and more.
Dining options include Japanese fare from the onsite restaurant, Samurai, and families love a garden-side meal at the Garden Court Cafe and Stovin’s Lounge.
With a strong focus on families, children 17 and under stay free, kids 6 and under eat free from the children’s menu at any of the hotel’s restaurants and children 7 and under receive a special “Kids’ Essentials” kit at check-in. There is also an onsite pool, luscious and well-groomed gardens, and fitness center for everyone to enjoy.

My second ever visit to Saskatoon, and my second stay at this hotel. Out of convenience in terms of name and location was probably the main driver of this decision to return. As one expects, it's a classic building and stands out prominently on the street. The room followed the same pattern, touches of history and old fashioned elements. I had a comfortable stay, enjoyed my breakfast brought to my room (albeit pricey). I did experience a lack of really hot water in the shower in the evening, and chalked that up to this building being an old one.
After hearing thoughts of other regular visitors to the city that I know, there seems to be more options downtown that are newer, so I'll likely check those out the next time I am in town, mainly out of curiosity and desiring something a bit more modern.

Loved the room, the staff is very nice and friendly. Location was perfect for our supper plans. The only concern, which became a major issue are the vagrants that stand right outside the hotels front entrance and around the building. Within a matter of the first few minutes of arriving my husband was confronted, then after a walk around the building with family after supper we were asked three separate times within 20 minutes for smokes, money and food. I will not be staying here again just for that reason alone. Terrible. Did not feel safe leaving the hotel or leaving our vehicle in the parking lot. Something really needs to be done about that.
