A bit disappointing

As a Wyndham platinum member, I reserved a King room weeks in advance. When I arrived there was only 1 king room left. It was a pet room. I did not want to be in a pet room and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The front desk clerk only gave me one option to downgrade to a 2 queen bed room. I've actually worked for a Days Inn before and Platinum members are always eligible for an upgrade. The front desk clerk did not give us an option to upgrade, so we slept a smelly room.That was extremely disappointing. The bed was clean though, but we will definitely pick another place next time.

Good overnight stop on way to FL

Comfortable clean room on the first floor. Had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast better than average but pancake machine was acting strange. Nice pool. Provided laundry and ice by the outside pool facility. Slept well. Puppy charge of $15. The cost was higher than I expected for a budget hotel. Great WIFI and cable system. Great water pressure for showers. Even though this is a refurbished older hotel building, it was in very good repair and had no problems.
