Extremely disappointing resort for one that is billed as a boutique 4-5 star. Rooms basic, food on the whole v poor with no entertainment during the day or evening. Service at times was an utter joke with several staff having a very poor attitude. Head chef was v helpful with my son’s gluten free requirements but aside from that was not worth even close to the money paid. The main restaurants served food that had clearly come out of large buffet trays out back ..not remotely close to al la carte. Beach ok at best with some good snorkelling but v small swimming area and not a good beach by Barbados standards. Also kick you out of all pools at about 6pm!! Don’t waste your money. Really regretted my choice of hotel. Complained several times whilst there but no response At any stage from manageress... simply not bothered. Would say it was 3.5 stars at best!! Stayed at Hilton Barbados for the weekend later in summer and was far better in every regard.

We went as a family of 3 & had such a lovely time. We loved the variety of food & the options of buffet or al a carte, our vegetarian daughter was well catered for. The wine was very good, I wasn't expecting that! Cocktails were also very moreish, & we also enjoyed the coffees from the vista bar. We spent the days on the beach, loved the canopy's on the sun beds, were looked after by having soft drinks/pina coladas/fruit kebabs/cookies/lollies brought round to us - you never knew what was going to appear! The staff are very friendly & very accommodating, nothing is too much trouble, any little niggles are soon sorted (our air con broke one evening & it was fixed within 30 minutes) We did the Swimming with Turtles trip with the hotel which was very good, & also the doughnut rides. Wish I could remember all of the staff I wanted to mention, but one in particular was Michael who sent my stroppy teenage daughter back to the room to change as she was wearing ripped jeans to dinner!! Made our night as we'd asked her not to wear them in the first place - she behaved herself every night after that!! Michael also made sure we had our 'favourite' table each time we used Reflections. We will definitely return.
