My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights during her fall break. The hotel is conveniently located to the interstate and lots of restaurants. The hotel room needs an updating, especially the bathroom with old tub, tile, etc. Our bathroom had no toilet paper holder. A roll was just laid on the counter where water could damage it. We only had one towel in the bathroom. It took two hours and two calls to get more. The next day, housekeeping didn’t come around until 4:55 pm. So we only did a towel exchange and our room wasn’t cleaned. The thing that concerns me the most is the fitness room. There are three treadmills and two of them have belts that slip. I reported it at the front desk the first morning. The next morning, I returned and the only good treadmill was in use, so I tried using the others. The belt still slips. Rather than risking a fall, I didn’t exercise. I again reported it to the front desk. I can understand if they can’t fix it in a 24 hour period, but why would they not put an out of order sign on it and unplug it? Raining outside so I can’t exercise before my 400 mile drive home. I’m very concerned someone could suffer a bad injury. Poor management here.

Great price if using Points break. Was frustrated at first with the phone, lights, tv, toilet, shower not working but all worked out well in the end. Aaron, the manager handled my complaints professionally. So did Tamara the HR Manager. They quickly took care of the problems. At the breakfast buffet, Cook Joe was very friendly and eager to help. So was Juan. While the hotel badly needs a facelift, management is doing its best meanwhile to keep it running as best as they could. Kudos to all the above! Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom - tight. Otherwise a very relaxing stay made possible by the people in charge.
