This place was 5 star at some point but out of all my trips south I can not say it's the best place to visit
Here is my fair rating
Staff in the kitchen and restaurants including cleaners get 5 stars
Management , construction, closures , no flexibility and more closures get 1 star
My kids barely used the kids club and when we needed to use it the flexibility was not there . We had an incident that I asked for a manager to report and no one cared to address my concern including manager at the front desk. There was a reason why not many people used the kids club. Baby club was good on the other hand and staff were super friendly
The sounds of construction were very loud during the day in the indoor pool , so on rainy days you are out of luck
So many things closed including the theater, restaurants. They close pools and slides randomly to take pictures or wedding events on the cost of all other guests . I understand they are paying money, but so are the other guests
Food selection is very limited in the buffets , we went for burgers and fries way more than we wanted as the buffet lacked selections.
Pool side entertainment and night was very weak , nightly show was indoor for 1 hour and the rest of the night you have walking around as entertainment
Rooms were good here and renovated. Air conditioning was good too
Over all we were lucky with the weather and had a good time by the beach and spending the day by the water . If the weather was bad then we would had nothing to do indoor or any backup plans . I have been to other resorts that you are always busy with all kind of events and activities that rainy day would not cause issues for you
