These rooms were updated but that was years ago. Carpet is now getting worn out, dirty and frayed, loose tiles in bathroom, gutters falling down, loose railings on the stairs, broken lights in parking area, and on and on. The maid service is horrible. One day didn’t come until 5pm and basically each day just pulled the bedspread up, changed out the towels and emptied the trash can. Dirty sink, shower and floors. Breakfast is sparse and out of eggs, water and had some plastic wrapped “pastries”. On the value scale and if cleanliness matters, I would definitely stay elsewhere

Stayed here two nights on a visit to LCAD. Despite the older look for this hotel, the room was modern and updated and clean. The beds were comfortable. It is one block from the stop for the free trolley which we used several times to get to the main drag of Laguna. We unfortunately did not make it to the beach despite our intentions. I'd like to try it again on a more leisurely trip and take advantage of the beach proximity.
