My husband and I have stayed at this Hotel several times in the past and have had a nice experience, but this time it was not. We have no complaints about the room or the check -in experience, they were very friendly.

We were in town for business, going to an open house and this was the hotel that had been reserved with a block of rooms. We had enough Marriott points to book a room instead of paying for it.

When we got to the hotel, the woman checking us in asked us if we were here for business or pleasure and we said business. She asked which group we were with and we told her. She then told us we get a free breakfast with this and proceeded to write out a coupon for the morning. We were not expecting this so it was a nice surprise. Coming to breakfast the next morning we were not on the list and we were sent to the front desk where the woman coldly said that we are not to have the breakfast because we booked with points, and took away our coupons.

Being in customer service myself I was not very happy. If someone is given something by the hotel then it should not be taken back, this is so wrong! Even if it costs the hotel they should have honored the coupons.

I sent a message to Marriott about this situation. I have not heard back from corporate or the Hotel itself, not even an acknowledgment. All I can say is I will never stay at that hotel again and frankly will look for other options besides Marriott if possible wherever I go. They obviously couldn't care less about my loyalty.

Very nice hotel. Nice outdoor area to sit outside of the pool. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean. Really comfortable beds. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice options for staying in to eat as well.
