I imagine that this hotel is used mainly for business stays, as there is nothing much around the immediate area. We arrived at just before 11pm and not only was the hotel bar already closed but there was nowhere else in the vicinity open either. (Good job I picked up a case of beer before we set off to Canada.)The hotel itself is a typical Courtyard, clean, nice rooms, free wifi and fridge (which we obviously needed.) We thought that breakfast was included in the room rate but were disappointed that it wasn’t. Certainly worth checking when you make a reservation.

We stayed here for 2 nights while playing in a softball tournament at the CAA Centre which is 5 minutes away. We had a king room with a whirlpool tub and that worked out well especially for my sore muscles after the games. We found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating for the most part.
Our room had a nice big safe for our valuables but it didn't work when we first tried it. To the hotel's credit, someone came up within 5 minutes and tended to it for us. We were impressed with how this was handled.
The room was good and lived up to our expectations. There were a few minor things such as the shower head which needs replacing but that was minor and didn't bother us too much. There was some garbage by the ice machine on the 2nd floor that remained there for the entire duration of our stay which was a bit disconcerting. Other than those things, we were overall happy with our stay here.
Hint - if you want coffee in the morning, go downstairs a get it from there. It is Starbucks, quite good and the staff is very friendly. We went to the Tim Hortons across the parking lot on our first morning and found the staff there to be totally miserable. Also, we highly recommend Shoeless Joes which is also just across the parking lot.
