First of all I want to say that the Hotel itself was exactly what you would expect for rooms, cleanliness etc. Our problem was the staff communication and incredible mess they made of our WEDDING arrangements. The staff was unresponsive and unclear about almost everything. When I called for rooms, I was told that the block was full. Several other of our family and friends were told the block was full and were not offered a room outside of the block. Then they told us that we didn't have enough rooms in our block. The hotel staff promised many things and did not deliver. We were forced, at the last minute, to scramble to find alternate shuttle services for all our guests. All this could have been avoided with good communication. Having a wedding is stressful enough and having to deal with a non-responsive staff member was a nightmare. There are lots of hotels in Rockford, Illinois. Don't pick this one for your wedding!

We stop here for a night. The room was very nice, comfortable and large. I appreciate the sofa in the room. The front desk person was very helpful. There was free wifi. My wife enjoyed the indoor pool. This hotel in conveniently located near freeway and many restaurants. I certainly would stay here again.
