We stayed one night at the courtyard just for fun and a little getaway. I only booked it because it had a pool and a hot tub. The check in staff was very friendly and when we were asked what brought us to Portland, I specifically said the pool and hot tub...we quickly found out that the hot tub isn’t there anymore, and the pool was cold. Our kids still swam, so I didn’t want to complain...the next morning the pool was still cold! When we got back to the room I was dying for a hot shower-but the water never got hot. Feeling like that was the last straw, my husband told the front desk upon check out. The clerk said they knew about the problems and they’d be fixed later-but we were checking out! She didn’t take anything off our $400 room charge! Or offer a voucher or anything. :( Disappointing.

We think her name was Sunny. She was extremely welcoming and helpful. She helped us figure out our night in Portland, where to go and where to eat. Her recommendations were spot on. She was awesome. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Right in the heart of all the interesting locations.
