Very comfortable and accomodating

We usually stay in downtown Madison to be closer to the campus vibe. However, we traveled to Madison for a football game and the hotels downtown were either booked or more expensive than usual. We chose the Courtyard Madison East and were very pleased. It is a typically decorated Courtyard but a lot of places to sit and chat. The breakfast items were very good and the bar in the evening was nice as well. Though my husband ordered an Old Fashioned (kind of the Wisconsin State Drink) and they were out of cherries. However the bartender did what she could to make the drink delicious and he was satisfied.

We enjoyed our time at the Courtyard and would stay there again.

The property is clean and comfortable and the customer service is first rate. Example: not one but two wedding parties were staying here on a recent Saturday night. When the shuttles arrived back at the hotel after 11 o'clock, they had bartender Beth ready to serve the rowdy crowds. Not only did she handle it solo and with complete professionalism - she did it with a smile on her face. It couldn't have been easy. Staff like that are hard to find.

Tip of my cap to Beth and to the rest of the staff for first-rate hospitality.
