The glamourous Courtyard Marriott Greenville Downtown sits in the hub of the excitement with the Peace Center across the street and Falls Park on the Reedy a pretty two-block stroll away. The rooms come in a king, two queens, or a studio king with a pullout sofa. Upgrade to myriad suites that offer more square footage and pullout sofas. Rollaway beds are not available due to fire codes.
Rooms come with at least one flat-screen TV, a microwave, a mini-fridge and free Wi-Fi. There is a daily fee for valet parking and self-parking (which allows you to retrieve your car throughout the day at no extra charge). The property has a fitness center, an onsite bistro serving breakfast and Rick Erwin’s Nantucket Seafood restaurant serving dinner. Sunday brunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Was contacted by desk supervisor just as I was boarding my flight wanting to know if I was still coming. I replied emphatically that despite the flight being late I was surely coming. She asked for my flight info so she could follow and I complied. I got there after midnight to find that they had left me a voice mail while in flight that they had given my room away despite personally confirming my arrival. And of course the person I had spoken to was off shift. They sent me to another hotel. I didnt get into a bed until hours later and was a wreck for my morning work. I followed up after and was very disappointed. Tried to work with the hotel manager on some kind of compensation that aligned with the inconvenience, but the issue was not resolved to my satisfaction. Eventually got to a point of radio silence. This is no way to treat a loyal customer (Gold level) of over 25 years and at this point I dont believe my loyalty to the brand is deserved.

I highly recommend this beautiful hotel for your next downtown stay in Greenville. We typically stay on the river, but decided to try out the Marriott this time around. This hotel is SO convenient to everything & the real plus is the Rick Erwin Restaurant & Bar adjacent to the lobby. The staff is very accommodating & attune to your every need. The front desk gentlemen, named Chioci, was especially helpful as well as the head of housekeeping. The king room was spotless, bed most comfortable & nice, roomy bathroom.Trust me, we'll be returning to this hotel often.
