We hosted a small event (25 people) for cancer survivors here. We do several events like this a year at locations around the country; this is the best hotel we have used.
The staff at the Courtyard Liberty Station were absolutely spectacular. From April and Liz, who handled our event arrangements (complicated by the unpredictable schedules of patients on chemo), to the front desk staff over several days, everyone we worked with was professional, thoughtful, and welcoming. In ways both large and small they contributed to the success of our event. Cannot recommend enough.
The property is clean and comfortable with attractive public spaces. It is an easy and nice walk to the many restaurants and other offerings in Liberty Station and very close to the airport.
You do hear planes coming and going but we did not find it bothersome at all.

This is an outstanding property filled with friendly professional hotel industry people. Only a mile or so from the San Diego Airport in the old Navy Station area which has been beautifully restored to its Art Deco finery. They even arranged to drive us in the courtesy van to a nearby restaurant.
