Getting here from the SAT airport is no small feat at rush hour on I-410 when there's an accident on the access roads. Google maps TWICE steered me wrong, until finally after 90 minutes of creep I arrived at the front door. Needless to say, I was frazzled after a trek half way across the northern hemisphere. Navigation to the property can be a challenge.
A cluster of Marriott properties adorns the area. Parking was ample, and check-in painless. Smiles all around, I dropped my bags and headed out for sustenance. Not a lot of chance for interaction. You'll note the lobby and rooms are quite clean. All the usual comforts of Courtyard bedding are there, and I had a good night's sleep. The HVAC unit in the room is loud, per usual at Courtyards. Breakfast is standard. In other words, it's an average Courtyard.

I recently held a business meeting at this property. My meeting was supposed to start at 9AM and when I got to the room to set up at 7:30, I made a decision to change the room configuration from theater style to classroom style. I contacted the meeting manager, Gilberto and told him what I needed. I would have expected at least a little pushback or an facial expression of impatience at my request...and I would not have blamed him...BUT, Gilberto went to work with his team with a big smile and got it done. I was so happy with the service and dedication to make it right for me. I started the meeting on time no problem. Thank you Gilberto and the entire staff!!
