The Courtyard Lake Placid is situated in a beautiful building that resembles a refurbished barn in the Adirondacks. Great Stay

1st time at this hotel in LP. Hockey tournament! Got a great rate. Room was large and very clean. Bathroom had fan. Breakfast was available, but we did not purchase. Did get drinks at bar and Starbucks in the morning. Room had a fridge, but no freezer (just left frozen stuff in car anyway!) Hotel had China and South Korea luge and bobsled teams present. Pretty Cool.

Fun stay

We were on the first floor of the hotel right near the lobby and I thought our sleep would be disturbed but we were fine! There is a Starbucks in the hotel which makes breakfast and snacking soooooo convenient!!! The staff was very considerate - our fridge broke and we were able to get a new one in minutes. The king sized bed was comfortable for us.

The pool needs to be cleaned. Although it was warm and my wee person had fun playing in it there was a sand at the bottom and on the steps of the pool. :/. The property is rustic and relaxing I would visit again.
