I did receive an email from the hotel prior to my stay that the directions on the navigation are not correct and they were absolutely correct. The hotel is not easy to get to and find at night. Although after finding it the first time and driving back during the day it was definitely much easier to locate.

Also there’s no food within walking distance so thank God for the Bistro restaurant in the lobby. When I checked in, the parking lot was extremely full so I had to park pretty far from the front entrance. Once I checked in, they handed me a parking pass which required me to go back out and place it in my car. They also charge $5 a day. After a long travel day, kinda frustrating although the front desk person offered to comp one night of parking for the inconvenience which was nice.

I stay in hotels often so I can easily compare it to others. This Courtyard has some features of the new look with the circular sofa and big screen tv with Netflix, Hulu, etc but the bathroom has the shower curtain vs the glass doors. Good thing is the curtain looked fairly new. Also this hotel has already implemented the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel pumps in the shower and has eliminated the small plastic bottles for shampoo and conditioner.

Overall staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Although no fault of the hotel it would have been helpful if they email customers advising them of the roadwork situation around the hotel, it’s really a frustrating experience and can’t rely on a sat nav to get you there. My score has not been reduced or influenced because of this though.
The hotel itself is clean, fresh and inside is quite peaceful and quiet, outside in the parking lot round the back there were some people having a meet up and playing music from their cars but they didn’t seem too boisterous and they may have even been guests.
Staff were friendly and courteous and we were checked in quickly. The room had a bottle of water and supplies for 2 regular coffee’s and 2 decaf. The room had 2 double beds and a bath shower/combo.
Was a bit concerned with my room location initially as it was near the elevator and ice machine but I didn’t get woken up once.

Would certainly stay here again as it ticks all my box’s
