Stay just minutes away from Logan International with wonderful views of the city and gorgeous outdoor patios at the Courtyard Boston Logan Airport. A shuttle will drive you from the airport to the hotel and vice-versa to make arrival and departures a breeze. Between the two, however, there is lots to explore. The Courtyard Boston Logan Airport is just a 10-minute drive from the center of the city, making all that Boston holds quite accessible. Spend a day learning at the New England Aquarium, taking one of the famous Duck Tours, exploring the North End and so much more. Upon arriving back at the hotel, you’ll find plenty to help you unwind from the day in the city. Send the kids to the indoor pool while you grab something to eat and drink at Brinkley’s restaurant and lounge and once everyone is ready you can retire to the room ready to rest for the next day of exploration.

We were pleased with this Courtyard by Marriott near the airport, overall. The shuttle service was good, the room was spacious, well appointed, and clean, and the hotel restaurant was very good for both dinner and breakfast (which was not included in the price).

We did the Park-Fly-Stay for leaving our car for two weeks while we toured parts of Europe. We came back on a dark, rainy night (No thunder so it couldn't be a "dark and stormy night") and the van pick-up was most appreciated. When you call for the van pick up from the airport, be sure to get very specific pick-up location information if you do this. We had to hunt a bit to find the pick up location exiting terminal E. I was thrilled not to have to drive after such a long flight. We picked up our vehicl in fine condition. Whew! The cost was $372, per night to include the overnight room (and shuttle, swim, and hot tub). It came to $26 per day. I was quite happy to have my vehicle at the Courtyard by Marriott Boston Logan Airport. The hotel staff was great about helping me feel the vehicle would be fine...and it was. The shuttle drivers were super!
The room was clean, quiet, and the beds comfortable. I do think for business travelers, room lighting could be brighter for work purposes. Otherwise the lighting is fine. The wall art work is partially hidden by a big TV screen.
There is no room service nor menus in the room. The restaurant closes by 11:30 p.m. I had an $11 bowl of clam chowder. In truth, at first I thought the price was high for a bowl of soup, but this was so excellent and plentiful, it was worth every penny! I highly recommend it! Two servers were on the floor. About 10:45 p.m. they received word of a cancelled flight with 80 people enroute to the hotel. I overheard vouchers were for $15. There are a few items within that price but not much. Breakfast is about $17, but I can't tell you of the quality because we did not try it. As we left the dining room, people were pouring in. I overheard a staff member say the folks arriving would end up having about 4 minutes to eat. I am thinking the two wonderful servers were already maxed and probably looking forward to the end of their workday but I guess sudden slams are normal for an airport hotel. As a guest, You might plan on ordering from a delivery service if you arrive after 11 pm, so information from your cell phone will be critical. There isn't information in the room for places to eat or to order a meal from.
The indoor swimming pool looks far, but it is easy to get to. I did decide to change clothes in the restroom in the swimming pool area, just because I did not have an appropriate cover-up for my swimsuit. The pool water was a good temperature. It is no deeper than 4 ft so don't expect a swimming work-out, but it is ok for water exercises and to relax after being crunched in an aircraft. There is a nice hot tub as well. Pool closes at 10 p.m. Plenty of clean towels in the pool area.
The nicest surprise was the next morning. It was still raining off and on, and cloudy when it wasn't actually raining. Yet, in spite of the lack of sunshine, as we pulled back the drapes in room 212, the whole huge wall window was suddenly filled with a gorgeous golden color from a beautiful tree displaying its fall foliage! It was stunning! What a wonderful treat!
The hotel also had a decorated pumpkin competition that was quite the lobby attraction. A sign encouraged us to vote for a favorite but all the entries were marvelous and entertaining. Well done!
( I would have given this 5 stars and indeed debated it because of the extra challenges in managing an airport hotel. The limited restaurant/ food hours and options is a drawback. Certainly not running it 24 hours is understandable. It might be a financial loss if run too many hours, but not having other delivery options readily available is tough for people arriving minutes before closing due to a cancelled flight. Also, the lighting in the room could be brighter. It was ok for a night, but I would want more light if I were to stay a week. Still the Park-Fly-Stay arrangement was GREAT and most appreciated- I do recommend staying here and would stay again! )
