Horrible Marriott

This is a very old, and dirty Marriott. The first room was on the first floor and could hear noise from lobby area so asked to be moved to higher floor . Receptionist did not care to ask why. Second floor room had a hole in the wall, filthy carpet and lampshade worn with dust . At this point my husband and I chose to move to another hotel . Left key at front desk and told receptionist that we were leaving which prompted no acknowledgement from same receptionist. I do not recommend this hotel and it is not worthy of being a Marriott which I usually associate with quality.

Better Than Tuscaloosa

We were here for a football game and booked months in advance to avoid 500 a night near the stadium. The carpet is NASTY! Needs an overhaul but staff was nice. There is only one elevator and the staircase has has vomit stains. Our room smelled like a dog and the air unit is so loud. Gross
