Modern and clean

Great stay at Courtyard. Check in was fast and served with a smile. Complimentary water at check in. Lobby is clean and modern design- cafe/bar. There is a sheltered courtyard in the middle of the hotel with lots of trees and seating. Beside that is a decent size poo and an good size exercise room. Lots of towels at the pool. Only negative is the elevator is at the back of the hotel - didn't notice a back entrance.
Rooms are average size. Beside the entrance is a sink/mirror and the toilet/bath are in a separate room. Towels were good quality. Bath/shower had pump shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of travel size. Sink and shower had instant hot water. Shower pressure was good. No pooling of water in tub. Exhaust fan was strong - no steaming up like other places.
Room was clean and well maintained. We had 2 double beds (small doubles) - beds/pillows were comfortable. I ordered extra towels on the app and they were there in the room when we arrived - excellent service. TV had standard channels and several apps including Netflix - about a 42" tv. Lighting was good in the room. Lots of desk space to work. Single chair with ottoman.
Heating/AC unit was one that sits under the window - so it was a little noisy.
Would definitely stay here again. Wendy's is a 2 min walk away. There is a whole cluster of hotels in the area. About a 10 min walk to Briarwood Mall. Short drive to Michigan Stadium and downtown.

Nice overnight

We had a nice stay. The hotel is near plenty of restaurants and the University of Michigan. The staff was gracious and helpful. Breakfast was the usual, but served quickly and the food was fresh. Good stay!
