Very nice owners and perfect place for a weekend get away in the area

We had a great two night stay at the Country Squire Motel. The room was very clean and reasonably priced. The owners were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to go and things to do. We definitely plan on returning.

Don't!

Strike 1 was not accepting American Express with no warning, nothing on the web site. Strike 2, garbage wasn't removed from the room by housekeeping after the first night. Strike 3, the room went completely uncleaned in spite of my stopping by the desk at 1:15pm to let them know we would be gone until dinner time. Add on spotty WiFi and dreadful tv choices and we will not stop here again. Spend an extra buck or two and stay elsewhere.
