Overview

Located just 25 minutes outside of Milwaukee, the 187 guesrooms at the Country Springs Hotel offer families king or double beds, microwaves, mini-fridges, coffee makers, TV with on-demand movies and Nintendo and free Wi-FI. Connecting rooms are available upon request, which allow for up to 10 guests between two rooms. The hotel has a water park right onsite, with body and waterslides, lazy rivers, activity pools and an arcade. Indoor and outdoor pools are also available. Enjoy snacks at the water park concession stands or try one of the two onsite restaurants, Copper’s Pub and Grill or Wildflowers Restaurant. Wildflowers serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, while Copper’s only serves lunch and dinner.

Family night away

Hotel was very clean. We stayed in one of the executive suites and it was spacious. Beds were comfortable. The one knock I have is they charge you $100 for incidentals. And will refund you within 3-5 business days. I can see them needing a card on file in the event of damage or something like that but no way they should charge upfront. I doubt we'll be back. Poor business model charging for something that you don't use.

A place worth staying

This hotel faces the highway but is still a quiet place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The Lake County Recreational Trail is next to the hotel which allows for a nice walk (not a loop trail, a straight , paved line) and the hotel features a good workout room. The hotel is close to some good restaurants and a good coffee house near Lake Pewaukee, which offer some nice views and good food. On the whole, a nice hotel with a lot to do around it.
