Overview

Situated right on the beach on Grand Bahama Island, Coral Beach Resort offers affordable accommodations in a great location. Rooms have either two double beds or one queen size bed, air conditioning, cable television, mini-refrigerators and coffeemakers. The property also features condos –some of which have multiple bedrooms and full kitchens — that are available for rent from their individual owners.

The hotel has a large swimming pool and spacious sun deck with plenty of loungers, as well as a restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves local seafood and Texas-style barbecue, and the bar hosts a nightly happy hour. A number of palapa-style shelters are set up on the beach just outside the hotel. Port Lucaya Marketplace, where visitors will find plenty of shops and restaurants, is just a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

Wonderful few days

Went to Coral beach resort for a four night stay. Arrived and were greeted with a friendly smile and checked in. Shown to our room by a lovely man who took our suitcase, showed us the room and explained the layout of the hotel. We had exactly as promised a lovely full sea view, room was spacious and clean. We unpacked then went to the pool area where we found plenty of sun beds available and a well stocked pool bar, again staff were welcoming and served us with a smile. Walked round the complex to the beach where again there was plenty of sun beds available. Went down to the bar for pre dinner drink, area was clean, well laid out and we were surprised to find waiters waiting to serve even though we were all inclusive (usually we would expect to queue for the bar so you can’t have too many drinks) service was very good and as soon as glasses were empty you were offered another. Found the main restaurant area and were shown to a table on the terrace which was again clean and well laid out. Offered a wine which we chose red and was of a reasonable quality. Choice in the restaurant was plentiful and everything throughout our stay was well cooked and presented, all staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the restaurants were closed being end of season but we were happy to stay in the buffet style. All in all the whole holiday was wonderful made better by the staff of coral Beach Hotel Resort. Would recommend this area to anyone looking for a quality holiday. Only thing that would be of concern to us was the amount of steps throughout being dangerous for younger children.

The weather was perfect and so was our stay at Coral Beach. All inclusive food was excellent and so was the service. Rooms spotless and so was the rest of the hotel. The pool area and beach access is fantastic- no charge for pool towels ????????. The setting is perfect.

This is a very good 4 star hotel in my opinion and a special shout out to bar waiter Adrian who served us excellently every night with a smile and good humour .
