Overview

The guestrooms, efficiencies, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and cottages can accommodate anywhere from two to six people. The guestrooms have a mini-fridge, but the other units offer full kitchens and every room has a covered porch or patio. Kids can swim at the beach or in the fresh water pool. But for snorkelers there is a salt-water tidal pool with tropical fish that opens to the bay. The boat dock and ramp are also available at no extra charge.

This is my second time staying at Coral Bay Resort. The price point is very attractive so that is always a plus. As previous reviews say, this is not a fancy place, but it still epitomizes what the Keys are about. I would give this place five stars if I could but what is keeping me from doing it is the fact that the beds are not the best. I had written about this in a previous review and that opinion still holds true. If you can get past the fact that the beds need to be upgraded or replaced, book it, you are in the Keys!!!

WE've been staying at the Coral Bay Resort for many years. Although it's beginning to show a little age (like all of us), it's still a great place to stay. The grounds are very nice. The dock has been replace and there is ample room to tie up your boat (personal or rented). The pool is very inviting. Charcoal grills are kept extremely clean and are ready to cook your catch. It's convienint with all the restaurants and other sites. Thus sunset views are fantastic.
PS: If you want a great boat excursion have the front desk arrange for Capt. Liz. You can fish, snorkel, or just tour around. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
